In June 2009 with the help of the Wyndham centre’s resident comedian Matt Grantham, we hosted a ‘night of comedy’ at The Comedy Store, Piccadilly and raised £2000. We had a wonderful line up of comedians, including Matt Grantham, David Ward, Chris Martin, Joe Bor, Papa CJ and special guest headliner was Brandan Burns.

In July 2007 The Wyndham Centre supported the launch of The Cancer Support Trust with an exhibition of art work created from blood sampling.

Prior to the launch there have been other fundraising activities and in 2004 Alison Wyndham whilst learning to sing at the late Gena Dry’s 'yes you can sing', school was inspired by R Kelly’s song 'I believe I can fly' so wrote to BMG records and was granted kind permission to release her own version to generate revenue.

Other  members of her class readily agreed to sing the backing track, and  a graphic designer David O’Connor offered to design the sleeve. Glen Skinner's recording studio recorded the song and Shamsh Gillani reproduced 1000 CDs in memory of his brother that he lost to cancer.

In 2005 Clara and Alison Wyndham rode in the London to Brighton bike ride and managed to raise in excess of £1000.
