Welcome to The Cancer Support Trust The Cancer Support Trust was given breath in 2007, and its objective is the relief of financially disadvantaged people suffering from cancer of any description by the provision of complementary therapies. The Cancer Support Trust is the first charity of its type to offer financial relief in this medical sector. Maybe you have watched someone die slowly from cancer, or even been with them when they received a diagnosis, maybe, this was even you. As someone close to this scenario, feelings of helplessness often ensue. Thoughts of 'what do I say', 'how do I say it' and 'what do I do?' will be part of this cycle. Once you get over the shock you will decide what treatment path you want to take. Many opt for complementary and alternative therapies in conjunction with or without conventional treatment . The Cancer Support Trust recognise that this path is often expensive and a huge drain on financial resources which in turn, places extra stress on family members. As much as possible we ask for donations from the patient for The Cancer Support Trust. The Cancer Support Trust will then work with the patient as to what complementary treatment is appropriate for their situation. We aim to bring peace of mind to clients who wish to take this path, and to make it much easier for them to do so. He completed it in a very respectable 4 hours 23 mins and has so far raised over £1,200.00, donations are still being accepted at http://www.justgiving.com/Alex-Fermor-Dunman if you would like to donate. We would like to congratulation Alex and thank him for his support.
